This is an excellent beginner class to learn to sculpt the face! 

In this five hour workshop learn the basics of facial feature construction while creating a whimsical piece to adorn your favorite tree or garden wall.  For this process, we will start with a solid block of clay where we will outline the face using a template, then slowly model eyes, nose and mouth features and finally carve the spiraling and swirling beard forms. Once your creation is bisque fired, come back to glaze it another day.
