Flower wall sculptures by summer clay campers
In this class create two beautiful flower-like sculptures that hang on the wall (or they could be used as paperweights). I discovered a simple technique to create this very complicated-looking flower as a project for my summer camp kids. As you can see they did a pretty nice job! In the class I will show you the basic construction and you can chose how many petals you want in your flower, the petal shape, and overall flower size and of course how you want to glaze it!
This class is geared more for the adult but certainly kids 10+ can play too.
$59 for two classes for one adult to make 2 flowers.
*Please note* This is a 2-part class:
Part 1: October 5, 6:00-8:00 pm. In this class we build the project in wet clay.
Part 2: October 12, 6:00-8:00 pm. After the flowers have been bisque fired in the kiln, you return for a second class to glaze it.
Class includes all supplies and firings.
