Where we play with clay

Summer Clay Camp 2025 Information will be posted in January 2025

two camps, determined by age:

Summer Clay Camp- for the camper who is new to clay, ages 6+
Open Studio Camp- class is longer for the camper who is a bit older or has some clay experience, ages 10+

1. SUMMER Clay Camp

Ages 6+
$185

No experience necessary, beginners welcome. All materials and firings included.

Part 1: CLAY BUILDING

Campers make a variety of projects that are centered around learning basic hand-building techniques with educational themes in areas of science, math and history as well as nature themes. We also set aside a little time in each class for the children to experiment and make their own creations. Campers are encouraged to express themselves!

June 25, 26, 27 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

PArt 2: GLazing

We meet for another week as the clay art works that were created in Summer Clay Camp Part 1 have been bisque-fired in the kiln and are now ready to be glazed. All glazed works will be fired again a few days after the glazing camp.**

July 9, 10, 11, 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

2. Open Studio Camp

Ages 10+
$199

The main difference is the children are a bit older and may have some experience with clay. The projects a bit more involved.
